Pearl Museum of Fine Arts Field Trip

Brownies field trip.  We took a tour of the Pearl Fine Arts Museum ( www.pearlmfa.org/ ) on Cypresswood Drive yesterday.  What an adventure.  We first toured the Quilt Exhibit with Ms. Emily Guerra.  The girls learned many of the techniques that are used in the art of quilting.  We also saw French paintings, furniture, glass, and other objets d’art. After the tour we worked on the art project that the girls brought home.

Our next meeting will be after school at Hassler on on Nov. 5th.

Brownies Meeting Oct. 8 at Hassler

The Brownies were real troopers! We said our Brownie Pledge and got right down to business. We learned about our Brownie friends such as their favorite colors, foods and vacation spot. We put this information into our scrapbook. The next meeting will be a field trip to the Pearl Museum. Please wear your shirt and sash. We will leave from Hassler and arrive back at the school
